Genomapp has just updated its database and reports have new information now. This update is available for free for our customers, as we have been doing since our launch in 2015.

2020 has been a year to forget but it has also brought good things. Hospitals, Universities, Laboratories, Genomic and Sequencing Centers have increased their contributions to scientific databases and it has resulted in a significant increase in the number of results in our reports. We have new data about conditions such as Celiac Disease, Schizophrenia, Autism, Diabetes Mellitus or Lung Cancer from more than 1800 submitters.

Global figures in the database have also risen. The new version of the app comes with:

  • 9500+ conditions (1400 more than in our previous database)
  • 12400+ genes (5100 more than in our previous database)
  • 183700+ genetic markers (79600 more than in our previous database)

We know you are awaiting information about the COVID-19 pandemic. Are there genetic variants associated with a more severe development of the disease or having certain symptoms? Does COVID-19 affect you more or less according to your genes or your pre existing diseases?

At present, February 2021, the findings are still scarce but we hope that the laboratories and genomic centers will submit data soon to the official resources so that we can provide you with reliable data. Please turn on your notifications to make sure we can let you know when information is available.
