What’s new
The 2025 update contains huge numbers:
More than 200,000 new genetic markers corresponding to 1,428 new genes have been added, as well as more than 5,000 new conditions. This means that our new version now has growth to over 800,000 associations between markers and conditions to compare with your DNA raw data file.
Specifically, these are some of the most notable new data:
- BRCA1 and BRCA2 genes: Over 1000 new markers related to these genes, which are associated with breast and ovarian cancer.
- CFTR gene: 362 new markers added. Mutations in this gene are the leading cause of cystic fibrosis.
- APOE, PSEN1, and PSEN2 genes: 57 new markers related to Alzheimer’s disease.
- TP53 gene: 146 new markers added for this gene, which is associated with various types of cancer.
- HBB gene: 2 new markers. Mutations in this gene can cause sickle cell anemia.
Please note that reports are personalized. While the new disease database includes additional markers, genes and conditions, not all reports will be affected by these changes.
