This Privacy Policy is a translation of the original PolĂ­tica de Privacidad in Spanish. In case of discrepancy the Spanish version will prevail.

This Privacy Policy describes how and when Genomapp collects, uses and shares your information when you use our apps. When using any of our services you consent the use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

The data provided by users will be included in an automated file owned by Genomapp.

Genomapp respects your privacy. When using Genomapp you will need a file with your DNA raw data. Genomapp processes this file in your own personal device and in no manner uploads or stores a copy of that file in our servers.

Protecting your personal information is important to us and we neither rent nor sell your personal information to anyone.

We collect the following information to provide, analyze and improve our services:

  • Registration information. When you register you provide personal information such as username and email address.
  • Profile. Basic information you may include in your profile: location, gender, date of birth, short bio.
  • Cookies and log data. We use cookies and similar technologies to collect usage data

By registering for an account, you are agreeing that we may send you promotional emails about our services. Please note that you may not opt-out of receiving non-promotional messages regarding your account.

We do not disclose your private personal information except in limited circumstances such as to our service providers. The servers of such services might be hosted in the United States of America, in that case the information related to the user profile (never the one related to the user genetic test) is hosted in that country.

In compliance with Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13 Protection of Personal Data, Genomapp reports that all personal data provided will be included in an automated personal data, created and maintained by Genomapp whose business address is Fuencarral, 156, 2I, 28010, Madrid, Spain. In accordance with the Spanish law a user has the right to access, correct, cancel and oppose his/her personal data by sending an email to the address info@genomapp.com.
